A Wi-Fi password with a QR code.
8 to 63 characters. Only used for the QR code and the card, and never sent anywhere.
Enter the network name for a QR code. Scanning is all it takes to connect.

How long should a Wi-Fi password be?
Well beyond the minimum of 8 characters: aim for 20 or more. Wachtwoordje makes five words with a number by default, like a short sentence. That is strong, and still easy to read out to a guest. WPA2 and WPA3 accept up to 63 characters.
How do I share my Wi-Fi with a QR code?
With Wachtwoordje you make a QR code from a new or your current password, without it leaving your device. Enter the network name exactly as in your Wi-Fi list, then share, download or print the code as a card. Guests scan it with their camera and are connected.
WPA2 or WPA3?
Choose WPA3 if your router and devices support it, otherwise WPA2 or the mixed WPA2/WPA3 mode. The password and QR code work with both. Avoid WEP and open networks: they are not secure.
